Getting ready for christmas

I know, I cant believe it either! lol. Usually I`m not really a christmassy person, and dont really get excited until christmas eve if that. But this year, with Tsuki`s impending arrival I`m feeling more excited. My mum and dad decided to drive 200 miles on Sunday to come see me and David because I`d happened to mention that I`d really wanted to see them the other day. They`re just that awesome lol. Mum asked if I wanted her to buy Tsuki a stocking or if I was going to make one, I hadnt even thought of it.

Yep, its got to that point in pregnancy lol. Im now less than a month away from my due date ( 23 days to be exact! ) and Ive decided that I dont want the pressure of custom orders on my when Im going into labour!

But I am still working Its actually been really nice to be able to make anything I want to. The pictures are TERRIBLE but heres what Ive got so far..

Ive also finished another pale pink triangle scarf with a fringe and a bobbly popcorn stitch cowl. As soon as I can be bothered I`ll take some decent photos and get them listed in the shop.

While I was on honeymoon my camera lens broke :/ so taking photos for the shop has been difficult and I`ve been panicking that I wouldnt be able to take decent pictures of my bubba when it arrives.
FINALLY, I saved up enough pennies to buy a replacement lens. I was planning on just getting a bog standard 18-55mm canon kit lens but got distracted and ended up buying this:

A Tamron 28-200mm super zoom lens.

Fingers crossed its as epic as it looks! lol

Whats been going on with me...

Errr, loads !

I think last time I blogged about anything other than Etsy it was to say I`d just come out of hosiptal, well, I`m glad to say Im much better now, they decided not to operate (which I was pleased about).

I think I vaguely mentioned that my boyfriend was moving 200 miles to live with me, well he did and he`s still here (it`s a good sign ! lol)

His name is David, and he is a TYPICAL southern boy (he`s from Kent), he is constantly moaning that it`s cold up here (we're in the midlands) and that everything we say is weird. But I love him :P , well most of the time anyway ;)

Heres a picture of him at Calke Abbey by the water, you`ll have to excuse the strange grin on his face, I`d just said something rude and he was giving me his 'Oh Really !?' face !

So yeah, we're living together, saving up for deposit to move out :) which is going to take FOREVER meh, but hopefully sometime next year I`ll be forgetting to blog from a different house :)

I`m now doing a Psychology course for my degree which is proving to be quite intense, david is also doing a course (which I`m very chuffed about as he can feel the pain too :P)

Other than that I`ve just been trying to get more patterns written and published, I`m thinking about possibly making them into a book or something but thats a bit of a pipe-dream at the minute.

Anyhoo, hopefully I`ll remember to come and blog again soon !

My mum and dad went on holiday the other side of the planet, I moved my boyfriend 200 miles to come and live with me, I went on holiday and then just as the cherry on the top, I ended up in hospital !

I just thought I`d say that I went down to London for the day this week and work my gorgeous booties round Camden, very fun ^_^

Although now I need to find about £1000+ to pay for all the pretty things I want from Camden ;)......I knew going there with no money was a bad idea !!

Ah well, 110miles to go window shopping and get a blister, it`s all good xD

I was planning to do Cactuar next but I kinda fell in love with Tonberry and decided he should go first instead (I`ve now fallen for Vivi from FF9 so that`s prob next on the list lol)
Anyhoo, this little guy is my pattern tester so he isn`t quite the right colours and I haven`t finished the ends off yet but I now have the pattern down so I`ll be able to make him properly next time !

This is how the internet makes me feel !!!

Specifically when it isn`t working, which it hasn`t been, for over a week !! And now I`ve been told to wait another 5 days while they investigate the problem that they should have investigated the fist time I rang them !
It`s like trying to get blood out of a stone !!

And then it got worse today, I`ve got an essay due in on Tuesday whiich for some reason I haven`t started yet and couldn`t do today because I have a cold, so I sat twiddling my thumbs for most of the day and writing up pattern (they will be available soon ^_^) then, just THEN as my favourite programme was about to start we had a POWER CUT GRRRRRRRRRR

I hate derby, I hate the UK and I hate the internet.
(btw I`m at my aunties on the PC, this isn`t the power of my mind typing lol)

Oh well, it`s got to get better at some point eh ? ^_^

Phew, Feels like I`ve only just left !

The furthest I`ve ever driven before was probably about 30 miles and I`ve driven over 400 this week (200 there and 200 back) I`m so TIRED -_- !
